We don't have one of those on the outside access to the 
waterheater.  Must be a different model.  You gave me an idea 
though.  I will get the manufacturer's name off the water heater and 
find a number to call them.  I think you are right, the water heater 
HAS to be filling and the system WAS drained to winterize it.

Thanks, Stephen, I am sure we will.  We need to.  Panic just sets in 
when we start taking things apart to understand them.  I guess 
that's the way Mark understands things....especially when we know 
not much alteration has happened to this Excella, but neither the 
owner's manual nor the service manual match exactly what is in the 
trailer.  It seems to revolve around the Int'l Soveriegn mid and 
rear bath, but it says 1974 Excella 500 on the cover of each book.  
Do we have Beatrice Foods to thank for this?

It will come together.  Then Mark and I will be able to help 
others...It just means taking everything apart that we need to 
understand.  Wouldn't be able to stop him anyway.  He needs to know 
how something works before he can work on it.  He's a great 
mechanic, but a curious one for sure.  He actually can make anything 
work and be better than original.  No offense to engineers out 
there, but he can make it better *smile*.  "We don't make the 
products.  We make the products better."
