We bought a 1978 28' rear bath two years ago for $5000.  We have put another 
$5000 in it (new frig, new water tank, tires, spare tire holder, 2 fantastic 
fans, new inverter, running gear gone through, trim...etc. etc.).  We love it 
and think the money well spent.  Considering a new one that compares to the 
one you are looking at is probably $50,000 you are getting a good deal as well 
as a better built trailer.
