If you are talking of an RV reefer (boiling ammonia type) the genset 
will probably choke on it.  I think these pull 1200-1500 IIRC.  Have to 
use propane to run these when boondocking.  Check the nameplate data if 
it's an electric only (compressor) style.  Some of the dorm size boxes 
only pull a couple of hundred watts.

Depends on the generator.  I know the EU-1000 (as well as the EU-2000) 
can be paralleled with another, but that  is really a dynamo/inverter 
set. (Generates DC and electronically inverts to 60 Hz AC)  I would be 
surprised if two alternator style generators could be synchronised as 
the electronic ones can be.  If they are not properly synched one 
generator sees the other as a dead short, and smoke and flames will ensue.

If your reefer draws less than a thousand watts, why not just hook it up 
to its own generator, and not go through the nut roll of hooking two 
gensets together?  That way, if 1kW ain't enough, you can get a bigger 
second units and still make it work.
