Re: [A/S] Flooring Alternative

We used this in our last house in the kitchen/eating area as well as the
laundry. The marmoleum that we chose had a 50's look to it which was
what we were after. Our product came in rolls. I can not recommend it.
It is hard to install. The floor needs to be absoloutely flat, no bumps
or seams, or they will show up over time. It is not very flexible. Ours
needed to be sealed and waxed, even then it took work to keep it
presentable.

I would use an expensive vinyl (or whatever) nonwax floor covering. This
is what Airstream gave us in lieu of carpeting (We do a lot of
boondocking) in our new 2004 Safari LS. It looks like a pergo imitation :-)
