[A/S] Plastic floor covering

Hi, Folks...

We recently bought a 2001 Safari, which had never been used. It still
has the clear plastic covering on the floor to protect the carpet.

How does one remove this covering?

It almost looks as if I'd have to remove the cabinetry and pretty well
gut the interior to remove it, as it extends under all the cabinets,
bathroom and closet doors, even the shower and bed.

I'm sure that this not the case, but how does one remove it?
