Toilet Woes

Last month, at the Airstream Rally, I went to the Thetford booth to get a
little thing to stop my toilet from leaking at the input place.

The little plastic thing was $20.00... yikes, I then asked how much the
gorgeous new toilet was that was sitting there.

The guy said, "You can have that one for $50.00 so we don't have to take it
back with us." The regular price was $130.00 or something.

So, I bought the gorgeous new toilet.... feeling like a very savvy shopper.

Installed it and it's not the right kind. Seems it's made to sit on the 
floor,
my set up is for the low profile one. Never occurred to me that they came in
different heights and the salesman never asked me or told me. It's so high I
need to climb up on it to use it, and my poor cats can barely get up to their
food. They jump on the toilet, then the bathroom counter to eat. One cat 
can
make the jump, but the older one isn't very athletic.

So, I'm off to buy a new toilet.

I've decided I want the Sealand porcelain one that uses a regular seat. I
could put the old one back but I've never liked the looks of it. 

Just a caution, if you buy a new toilet, be sure you know which one you have
now.
