In addition to Oliver's list, I carry a set of Warning Triangles, a tow 
chain/strap, a length of "drinking water grade" hose and hose clamps, and a 
selection of short planks of various thickness (for leveling/stabilizer 
support/etc.). Our cell phone doesn't work in all areas where we travel, but our CB can 
usually get contact with a passing trucker or other RVer. I understand that the 
new OnStar or equivalent uses satellite communications and has essentially 
universal coverage (except in deep forest or canyon country.)
