although I'm not an airstreamer yet, I suppose that sometimes happens despite good maintenance on the tow vehicle I believe that there are devices that you can use to lock the hitch with,so if it's something that you worry about,it would pay to have one available if needed Dan/NC '30 Ford Pickup Trek Bike
