Honda & Yamaha both make generators that run at a constant RPM & put out a
square wave current, AND Honda & Yamaha both make alternator models that run
at varying RPM depending on demand & convert that output by inverter to
clean sin wave current. The inverter types are very quite
The Yamaha you are looking at is the same as the Honda inverter models in
that it is the inverter type design & as quite as the Honda.
I had a Yamaha for a while & its a solid piece of machinery, you will be
satisfied with it.
