That's where Airstream installed the little mini generator to charge the
trailer battery when they were offered as an option. You won't want to have
a generator with enough output to operate air conditioning, microwave,
coffee maker, etc. inside the trailer for long in my opinion. Doesn't strike
me as a do it yourself project -- but I could be wrong.
