Some folks put them on the frame behind the gas bottles. Ours is on the bottom of the trailer on a carrier made for that purpose. To mount it you need to cut the belly skin and the tire fits up in the framing. I had a dealer put mine on... $150-$200 if I recall. Thomas #8848
