Oops, didn't get to the top of the message:

Can anyone suggest what to wax a 2001 Excella with to make the 
clearcoat last as long as possible?

I've had to use Dupont white polishing compound to remove some spots 
along the top and upper sides.

Also, suggest when and what caulking to use to go over the roof 
seams?
