Good Sam Club offers a service called "Emergency Assistance" for about
$100 a year, I believe. While returning from the last Vintage Rally in
Estes Park, CO, I had a heart attack in Moab, UT. It was quite a hassle
to arrange to get the A/S home with the wife and animals, and nearly as
stressful as the illness.

About a week after arriving home, I got information in the mail about
the EA program (lousy timing!), and found that it would have taken all
the stress and a lot of the expense out of getting home and being in the
hospital miles from family.

Might check into it. I'll post more details when I find my member's
package, but it's another alternative...provides a driver for your RV,
medical assistance, helicopter if needed, lodging assistance, etc...
