Gosh and I think it's the best. you can leave it down, or,   (I have a 
"cocktail" chair oposite the sofa on my 31ft '77) or leave it half up as a 
coffee table, then a dining table for two. and, at least on mine, it opens up 
much larger than a dinette, I've had six for dinner,,,,
I sorta think a dedicated dinette is wasted space when your not eating..
In fact if I ever do get a 34ft, I plan on eventually taking the dinette out, 
and putting in extra counter space as well as making the LR bigger.
