The short answer is that they're pretty quiet when both are running, 
because they're sharing the load.

In my case, the 13.5K btu heat pump runs about 15A, except when 
starting where it's higher.  I keep the 3A fan on low, rather than 
auto, so it isn't starting at the same time as the 12A compressor. 
That's less than half the two generators combined capacity, so on Eco-
Throttle they aren't running very fast or loud.
