  Not so. How long a battery lasts depends how much you take out. If 
you use 10 amps an hour a 120 amp battery will be dead in 12 hours. 
And accordingly if you recharge the battery at a rate of 10 amps it 
will take 12 hours to recharge it. Those are theoretical numbers put 
forth by the engineers and are not possible in reality. Abattery is 
unusable long before it uses all of it's amperage. Also many things 
are voltage sensitive and stop working long before the amperage 
is "used up". My 12 volt TV quits long before the lites dim.  To put 
it in AS langauge,,,if you TV uses 4 amps an hour and your solar 
panel is putting out 4 amps an hour, you are "breaking evan". Not all 
motor vehicles use power at the same rate when operating. A gas 
engine uses power to operate the ignition coil but a diesel does not. 
Some vehicles have more lites than others. It only has a "hold in" 
coil for the injection pump and so on and so forth. To say a certain 
battery will operate a vehicle for a set amount of time is inaccurate 
because of the differant operating variances between vehicles. Arnie
