I've often been able to obtain (on loan from the library) obscure books by
asking the local librarian to get it for me through "inter-library loan".
Sometimes the book comes in within days, sometimes several weeks or more.
If you are staying in one place for several weeks - and can't find one to
buy - this would at least give you a chance to read and learn from the book,
maybe photocopy a couple important pages.  Might be worth a try, if all else
fails.
