I have never had that problem in my A/S but used to have it in a 
truck camper.
If you have a plain round rod go and buy two spring clamps for each 
closet.   They look like huge cloths pins used for wood work.
Bunch your clothes hangers together and put a spring clamp on the rod 
on each side of the clothes hangers.  This should prevent both 
problems from happening.
With my vintage unit I am able to leave my shaving kit on the 
bathroom vanity for a 500 mile trip, and it normally stays there.  I 
am surprised that clothes come off the hanger in an A/S.
