It was hard to replace a brand new component,
but that's exactly what I just did.  I have
a 9160 Inteli-Power with Charge Wizard sittin'
on the work bench ready for installation.  But
I think since I'm going to work in that area
anyway, I'm going to add a Link 10 amp-hour meter.

Rather than 13.8V fixed, it gives 14.4V battery
recharge, which means less generator run time and
higher level of battery charge, as well as a lower
13.2V float mode for less water evaporation during
non-use.

While it doesn't have the high constant current 
"bulk" mode, nor a true 15.5V equalization, it 
better satisfies the batteries needs.  For true
equalization, you really need to disconnect the 
batteries from all the appliances so they don't
get damaged by the higher voltage.
