I do not know if the generator will run your microwave.  Next time 
you see someone with a EU-1000 ask them if you can try it.  If the 
microwave is to big,  the red light on the front will turn on and the 
generator will stop generating.  You will have to reset the generator 
by stopping it and restarting it.  It will not hurt the generator.  I 
would say it was "Fool Proof" but when you say that, they come out 
with a whole new group of fools.

The EU-1000 should run your microwave.  It is rated 900 watts 
continuous.  My microwave is 500 watts.  It draws 8 amps.;  I have 
no trouble using it with the generator.  I use the gas stove for a 
teakettle and to make coffee.  I do not have an electric perk.  I also 
do not use  an electric toaster with the generator.  When I do not 
have electric I make biscuits.  There are some advantages to not 
having electric.

I do not think you would be able to run the microwave and a very 
large TV.  Again you would have to try it to see.

From where I stand however I only use the microwave for a few 
minutes at a time.  Usually just to heat up leftovers, or popcorn,  
short term work.  I would not try to cook a turkey with the 
microwave on the generator.  It would be easier to use the oven.  
The oven would make the whole meal come out at the same time.

I do use the generator to run my George Forman grill.  It does that 
very well.  It does not even go to full throttle.

The only way to know is to try it.
