Great, now *that's* a tow vehicle!  Some will say more than you need, but my 
feeling is you can't have too much truck.  When you're out west you won't be 
sweating it worrying about how steep the next grade is....
When you are going uphill on a freeway entrance ramp you'll be up to speed 
when you merge. I love my big powerful truck....

Absolutely necessary.  It's illegal to tow a travel trailer without one, not 
to mention crazy.

I got my first Airstream about 5 years ago..... started fulltiming 3.5 years 
ago. It's the most fun thing to do!!! You really will ove it, and the 
Airstream family s wonderful.
