  Hi Tony,
  I'm glad to hear you are both alright. Sway controls are designed 
to keep sway from starting not to correct it once it occurs. Someone 
added a friction type sway control to your Reese. That's a no no. The 
Reese is the ONLY sway control that is self centering because of the 
ball and socket design. Adding a friction type negates that action. 
Also someone may have set your controler wrong. It sounds as thou the 
Suburban was braking harder than the AS. And I am sure the folks who 
spent $2500.00 for a Hensley will be mad at me for saying this, but 
once the situation you described started it would have been hard for 
any hitch design to stop. Once again were glad you folks are OK. Arnie
