   Congradulations on your new trailer , I ll do my best with your 
questions .
    In suppose the codes vary from state to state , but to hook up to a 
septic system here , one needs to have an approved system just like 
a house . The leach field part might be smaller , as you only have one 
bed and one bath . You might look into a portable toilet rental , or a 
composting system like a clivus multrum , but you would still need 
to dispose of your gray water legally . Its possible to use a portable 
tank for that and remove it to a wastewater facility . Or just run it on 
the ground if its just a little , once in awhile . Imagine what a tent 
camper might do . Use no phosphate soap , and throw it on the 
garden . But thats not legal and if I remember Calif codes are strict , 
and you might be in big trouble with the code enforcement officer , 
and best to get off on the right foot with him if you ever want to 
build there !
   On the electricity problem , two 100 watt panels , two batteries, 
one regulator will give you plenty of power for 1500 $ or so . Gas 
adds up , and who wants to go to the getaway and listen to a
generator run for hours charging the baterries . A good generator 
costs that . And you can always  buy more panels when and if you 
ever build there .
