[A/S] Re: Truck ad on tv

Hi Bob

I have towed twice with the 4 wheel steer pick-ups and they are
pretty neat to drive. It will manuever in very tight spaces the only
thing you have to watch for is that you can quite quickly get the
bumber into the A frame when backing up.

I towed a 30' Box trailer with a slide-out which means it is high in
the air and has a high centre of gravity. I used a 1200 lb Eaz-Lift
hitch with and without sway controls and could not tell the
difference. The action of the back wheels on the highway seems to
eliminate most sway. The only negative was very poor steering feel
due to the big balloon tires. A set of 225/75R x 16" Light truck
tires would make a big difference to it.

The 6.0 Litre performs on a par with 454's of not very long ago.
It will certainly play with any Airstream ever made.
