According to my service manual for a 1976 A/S the heat ducts are not through
the floor in the 31' rear bath model. The two outlets are shown in the from
through the forward door side cabinet and in the rear at the through the
side housing. I would assume that the 78 A/S layout would be about the same.
A bigger concern would be firing up the old Suburban furnace if it has not
been used in several years. Be careful.
