[A/S] Hello and Another Question!

Hi, all:

Thanks so much for the help we've received from all of you regarding
purchasing an Airstream.
We got one!!!!!!!! The 25' Safari 6 sleeper was purchased from the local
dealer - who beat all the other quotes we got from other dealers.

The Airstream was built on 1-30-03, and we picked it up on Saturday,
2-15-03.
However, there is a problem we discovered with it (after coming home) and
would like anyone's input.

The underside of the Airstream has many corroded areas - fasteners; around
the center hub of the mag wheels; jacks (pitted galvanizing); copper piping
(green on frontside only); inside of rear bumper (corroded and no paint);
furnace gas valve; axles and brake backing plates (rusted). The damage is
not surface rust. This probably occurred as a result of traveling over
salted roads during transport. My husband called the dealer and is taking
the unit back tomorrow. He is going to ask the dealer to put him in direct
contact with someone from Airstream in Ohio.
How should my husband handle the problem with Airstream?

Thanks for any input.
