Hey Hunter,

You should/need to do what I did when I first got the 2000.  Go to Home 
Depot.  In the Electrical Dept., they have a surge suppressor that is 
designed to protect a whole house. It ran around $20.  Wired it in where the 
main power cable enters the trailer.  Walt should be able to wire it in in 
about 5 min.  Protectes everything that is plugged into the AC system.  Gives 
'some' peace of mind.
