[A/S] choice of parks was: Full Timing?
You are correct there. He also won't park overnight at Wally World or other
of those no hookup places. But then we don't have 4 ferocious guard dogs
and kitties to protect us, either!!
He threw a fit when he saw the Passport America park in Ft. Stockton,
Texas!! He was even more disgusted the next morning when he learned that
their rates were higher than others listed in the Woodall's Directory.
Parkview RV was its name, and it had a segregated area in an unfenced dirt
parking lot next to the highway for PPA members. The picnic table at our
site was a rough cable spool.
Speaking of which, Desert's Edge with its many amenities, where we are
staying in north Phoenix is ajacent to I-17, about as close as your cabin
was I-40, but separated by Oleander coverd chain link fence. Even so, it is
very comfortable and esthetically pleasing with its many southwestern desert
colors and desert landscaping, meaning no grass, lots of desert loving
plants and lots of colored rock.
Truth be told we do spend much of our time outside and we do appreciate the
nicer surroundings as well as all the comforts of home.
