Chuck, I wouldn't worry about the water leaking out. I just add a little water to wet the bowl before use to make cleanup easier. As long as the water isn't running or leaking constantly (which would eventually empty your fresh water tank and fill up the waste tank, you are okay. Jim Greene ' 68 Tradewind
