I just removed one for lack of working correctly.  If the side you put the 
antenna on the glass is facing the cell site it works OK, the other way 
dead.  Also as someone mentioned the higher the better.

I have a plate on top of  a piece of plastic pipe that I put the Mag mount 
on to get it above the trailer.  Works great.
