Burt,

When we redid the floor in our 76 we used a pergo style flooring in the 
front to the Accordion door and then used an industrial Berber carpet from 
there back.  If you are "handy" type person you won't have problems, read 
the instructions on the laminate floor.  The carpet needs to be stretched 
onto the nail strips to look and fit right, but, it is worth it.
