  Well here is my thought on this whole replacement propane valve 
deal, I took my tanks to a propane dealer and said here are my tanks 
replace the valves. They replaced the valves in my aluminum tanks for 
less than $25.00 each and I am confident that they are the right 
valves.If I remember right, they told me when I had it done that the 
aluminum tanks take a different valve.  At any rate I am confident 
that they are right. Is your safety worth saving a couple of bucks, 
if you saved that. My 2 cents worth, think about it? Richard in
