[A/S] Re: Suburban heater smokes

Hi Steve

There is not a replacement that just fits in the old box. The
Hydroflame is wider and lower and needs a larger opening through the
outside skin. We space them up off the floor so the new cutout hides
the old one from the Suburban furnace. The extra width sometimes
means relocating the water pump or minor cabinate changes in some
models.

The case accepts the round flexible ducts that the new furnaces
have. You can install some short lengths of these and connect them
into your existing metal ducts. If you have a 75 or older with the
metal duct under the furnace you can pretty easily connect into it.

Hydroflame now has a neat 2 speed unit that is very quiet and it
saves propane when you just need a little heat.
