[A/S] RE: winter camping improvements
Barbara, we use a ceramic small cube type heater in the winter in the
south west. While we were in the Grand Canyon last year at Christmas
we had 6 inches of snow, it was cold but not extremely cold. We used
the cube heater in addition to the trailer's furnace. In that way the
furnace didn't have to work as hard. The ceramic heaters are
relatively safe. Once, in our home someone left a wool blanket
covering the turned on heater overnight. It didn't catch fire....
close but it didn't light. The heater is light weight and is only
about 6 or 8 inches square.
