Sorry I missed the beginning of this thread.

We have been putting Ceramic tiles in Airstreams since 1983 and have 
done various amounts in 100 or more.  Usually we just do the entrance 
and galley area and maybe a bathroom but some have been complete from 
front to rear.  We have had very little trouble with cracking grout 
etc.  The nice thing is the tiles we put in 9 years ago still look as 
good as the day we put them in.

We use a special shock abosorbing orange plastic sheet below the 
tiles to absorb the flex in the floor.  We also use a flex agent in 
the grout.
