[A/S] Re: LPG Tank Winterized
Louis,
I fly hot air balloons which burns propane. The only time, I've ever
known people to do this is when the tanks are either new, or have been
sitting empty for some time out in the weather, the reason is because
water can collect in the "bottom" of the tank. Being the we (balloon)
draw our fuel from the bottom of the tank, it could be a problem
(never in 10 years have I had) for us. But, remember on your trailer
you burn "vapor" not liquid, you draw for the top, not the bottom.
You "should" never have a problem. If you have steel tanks, it may
help from them rusting from the inside out. Think about this,
When was the last time you heard of a propane company coming out to
your house to do this to your household tanks?? never.
