    Not to say that it cant be done , but it surely will be a lot 
of work , and as the other reply stated , will be hard to fit into 
that space . Should you decide to do it , all the plumbing and
holding tanks will have to be relocated (and fabricated ) , as you 
want the toilet  to empty directly into tank , and the tank to exit 
down and out without a lot of distance or turns to clog up ,etc.

    I had always thought about doing it , particularly on my first 
trailer , but after having lived in them for months on end , came 
to realize it is hard to beat the original design of the mid size
trailers . Not that one spends that much time in the bath , but its 
hard to make a decent size one on the side , without taking up some 
of the living space . Plus when you are in the bath , you dont
want to be all squeezed in there having to worry about getting the 
t.p. wet while showering ,etc .
    I do like the idea of a nice private rear bedroom too , with a 
nice big bed , but there has to be some compromise when you only 
have 24 feet to fit it all in , and if your spending any time in it
, you`ll want the nice big rear bath . Even the side  baths on the 
31 ft.ers are kinda cramped , if ya ask me .
     Not that it cant be done ... I`d like to see one done , I`d 
still like to do one myself someday , but it will take a complete 
redesign of the entire trailer by a good designer ( which could be
you ! ) to make a comfortable , livable, unit .
    I have had some experience trying to fit a full bath in < 5' x7'  
in houses , ( I`m a builder ) , which most books will say is the 
minimum square footage . And I am on my seventh airstream . But
these are only my opinions , and go for it if you want to ---- could 
be a good thing , but it wont be an easy thing .

 Ps I`d consider having a fiberglass guy fabricate the shower stall , 
it might be around the same amout of loot , plus would fit your model , 
which is narrower than most new ones and a different shape than any 
side bath that airstream made . Try around boat builders for guys 
looking for side jobs, if theres any in your area . He could make the 
tank ,too.
