Mildew likes damp and dark.
A bleach solution will discourage it (wipe with Baking Soda to kill the
smell.)

If the trailer is being stored, it is a good idea to keep a window or
vent cracked to let moisture out, and run the furnace once in a while to
get the moisture out.

If you are using the trailer, you also need to vent the moisture from
cooking showering and even just plain breathing. When cooking, use the
vent fan, and give the bathroom an airing out.
