The Prodigy is an inertia controller that bases the amount of current 
on the deceleration it measures.  It follows the trucks deceleration, 
and has to be smart enough to ignore the deceleration that it itself 
causes.  The truck starts the sequence by braking and causing 
deceleration.  The Prodigy says, okay, he wants to brake this much 
and applies the trailer brakes by the amount you have it set to for 
that amount of deceleration.  This causes the rig to decelerate a bit 
more, but the controller knows how much of that it caused and doesn't 
continue to increase braking based on that increased deceleration.  
Now if the driver begins braking harder than the controller thinks it 
is causing, it increases its braking.  It is always following what 
the truck is doing.
