I have towed a box and a flatbed trailer many miles with
a Jeep Cherokee.    I DO use an  equalizer hitch e/w sway bar.
This makes going down the road very easy.
BTW   you Will Need breaks on that trailer too.
Don't follow too close as you will need a long way to stop.
If you are going down a hill  SLOW DOWN.. The short wheel base
of your tow truck will fishtail EASY.
