[A/S] Underside of trailer

After reading about mouse problems I decided to take a look under my 
trailer.  Gosh it's rather clean under there but I've noticed that 
the sheets of alunimum are simply pop rivited. That's ok but should 
the edges be sealed with something like an undercoat?  The goopy 
stuff from around the refridg drain is pertty much out of there so 
I'm going to get something for there but don't know what yet.

Any suggestions?
