I've used alot of that Luan but I want something like that stuff with the
foamcore looking stuff inside and wood outside that it looks like the
cabinets are made of now....I was even considering veneering a new wood to
them but the woodworker MR wants to make all new ones and we do have to
compromise. I do get to patch and recoat the fiberglass....yea! That core
reminds me of basswood and it might be. That's expensive tho! We do
usually build drawers from basswood.....light with little grain.
