Re: [A/S] Used tires?

That's what it looks like to this newbie!

My last order was for two 195/55R15 tires. They came with the
manufacturers warranty packet. Shipping from Indiana to Dayton
(pretty close I imagine) for both tires was $12.78 or $6.39 each. I
imagine 225/75s would be a coupla bucks more. The local BP service
center usually charges $12 each to mount and balance, but do it for
me for $8 because I'm a good customer there.
Your shipping and M&B costs may vary, but shouldn't be anywhere near
$37 per tire.

EXCELLENT point! That's why I keep stock Dunlop tires on the
Harleys... can buy a matching tread pattern front or rear at any
dealership in the US. Definitely worth the price over mail-order!
BTW, are A/S tires mounted tubeless so you could plug and pump a tire
out on the road? That's one reason I run tubeless cast vs tubed wire
wheels on the highway bike! No spare! Plug kit and pump in a
saddlebag, and a cell phone for when it's too bad to plug.
