Hunter and all.  I think that it would be more advisable to use aluminum 
wool in place of the steel wool.  Steel wool in contact with aluminum will 
cause some severe corrosion problems down the road.  Also I don't recommend 
using _any_ poison anywhere pets or children may be.  If a mouse eats the 
poison and then a pet or child gets ahold of it there might be tragic 
consequences.  Aluminum wool should be available wherever you find steel wool.
