Hi Jeff, when my 77/31' got broken in to about 10 yrs ago, the door 
had to be replaced. The aluminum in the new door is different than 
the aluminum was in 77. The door looks different. Its not too bad, 
but when the light is right, it really looks different. The older A/S 
that can be polished like a mirror is what the 77 looks like. You can 
tell the new aluminum couldn't be polished the same way. Might be 
worth asking about the aluminum if buying a new panel.
