I think they are trailers that semis pull...... tractor trailers. I know a 
lot of people with horse trailers use the tape...... even small horse 
trailers.  I'm in the process of buying a horse trailer right now that has it.

If our trailers were required Airstream would have put it on, the new ones 
anyway. 

I never drive at night, so it's not something I would probably do, but if I 
drove at night I would.
