Indeed!  A turbo is the best bang for the buck, _especially_ as you 
go up from sea level and the air gets thin.  Although you can 
find "torque cams" they don't help nearly as much.  Hi-po cams are 
best used for higher rpms... so is headwork.  But that being said, if 
you're at higher rpms, one gear lower, you have the mechanical 
advantage of the torque multiplication of the lower gear.  That 
translates to hp.

I'd definitely invest in the turbo if you're going to be up in the 
mountains!
