I tow a 68 Overlander (26') with an E-250 extended
van.  It handles fine.  I don't doubt that the
standard length would be better, due to the obvious
difference in leverage.

I have no idea how an E150 would do.  I would not
expect it to handle as nicely as the E250.  You might
also need to make changes to cooling, etc.
