Just a SWAG, but if the front kitchen is that much heavier they probably moved the axles 
forward to compensate for the tongue weight.  If they used the same axle position with a 
mid kitchen it could be just a little too light on the tongue.  If the nose got just a 
little too high under that condition the whole trailer might lift enough to get light on 
the wheels and be unstable.

About 5 or 6 months ago IIRC someone on this (or perhaps the VAC) list had the same type 
of problem with an older (spelled lighter) smaller trailer while towing from purchase 
location to home.  Since his tow setup was not optimized to the trailer, he wound up 
nose high, the trailer tried to "fly" at highway speed, and the whole trip (Washington 
state to California?) had to be run at speeds below 40 or so.

Seems possible to me, but really just musing out loud.
