After reading about this on the list, I checked with my insurance company. 
They insured it like an antique car -- stated value. (I insured it for a 
given amount that I can back up with receipts,etc...and they agreed). But, 
you have to check, because if they don't insure it correctly, you could end 
up with book value (translated = very little) if you total it. 

Also, you might find some useful info in the archives. This was discussed a 
couple of times recently.
